Born in Bielefeld, Gregor discovered film sound as his main creative medium after spending his youth in big bands, jazz and rock combos, musicals and theater. During his sound studies, he learned from mixing veterans Martin Steyer in Germany and José Luiz Sasso in Brazil.
He graduated summa cum laude from Film University Babelsberg and holds a degree as 'Dipl.-Tonmeister für audiovisuelle Medien'. While specializing in re-recording mixing, Gregor frequently advises selected projects on sound matters from first draft screenplays till the final mix.
